The Red Velvet Inn is a unique, pet-friendly bed & breakfast located in the heart of downtown Navasota, TX, which is 20 minutes south of College Station and a hour north of Houston. It is located in a 120-year-old Victorian style house that was built by Charles W. Stewart, two-time mayor of Navasota, and son of Charles B. Stewart, signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and designer of the Texas flag. Pets are welcome at the Red Velvet Inn and a percentage of the room rates will be donated to Texas Husky Rescue, Long Way Home Pit Bull Rescue, and Texas Sled Dog Rescue.
There are 4 bedrooms and they are named after my dogs. All bedrooms have cable TV, free wi-fi, and include breakfast.
The price to book the whole house is $550 + tax/night, If you’re interested please let me know by emailing me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The address of the Inn is 803 S. La Salle, Navasota, TX 77868.
Navasota is known as “The Town that Trains Built” and is one of three cities in Texas that Union Pacific has designated as Train Town USA. The Red Velvet Inn is two blocks from the train tracks and an average of 30 trains a day travel through Navasota, so you will hear trains passing by, even at night. It is part of the charm of Navasota and the Inn, but light sleepers should be aware of this.
